Clinical Counseling Embryo Adoption Services

Embryo Adoption

In 2004, Kris Probasco established the first community-based embryo donation and adoption partnership program with clinics in the Kansas City area. This program model identifies and creates mutually beneficial partnerships between adoption agencies and local fertility clinics. Kris has been actively consulting with agencies and clinics around the country to help them establish their own local partnership programs. She is also a consultant for the Embryo Adoption Awareness Center operated by the Nightlight® Christian Adoptions, the pioneer in embryo adoption.

Embryo Adoption Consultation and Homestudy Assessment
An embryo adoption results in a full, legal adoption. Information required to complete an adoption homestudy assessment is collected, including: health, finance, personal security, home and state requirements and references. Applications are obtained and processed with the agency providing matching services to genetic parents. Consultation includes discussing the lifelong issues this type of adoption could have for the resulting child/adult. Post-placement services and referrals are available as necessary.
