    Leon R. Probasco, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Missouri and Kansas, in psychiatric and substance abuse practice since 1980. He earned American Board Certified Diplomat credentials. Leon conducts general psychotherapy, specializing in treatment of stress, depression, mood disorders, and substance abuse with adults, adolescents and children. As a brief therapist, he uses cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, couple and family psychotherapies to help clients solve behavior problems through practical solutions and actions. Leon works with primary care physicians, psychiatrists, schools, and courts to coordinate care. He specializes in EAP services to companies and employees.

 

 

    Kris A. Probasco, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Missouri and Kansas. She has practiced since 1972 in her specialty of adoption, infertility and reproduction. Kris consults with three fertility medical practices in the Kansas City area, specializing in work with families formed by a donor conception. Her agency, Adoption and Fertility Resources, is a licensed child-placing agency in both Missouri and Kansas. Kris provides placement services for domestic, international, and embryo adoptions, which include counseling for prospective birth and genetic families. Out-patient therapy services is available for all infertility and adoption related issues. She also maintains a general psychotherapy practice.

 

 

Laura K. Probasco, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Missouri and Kansas. Laura worked as a school social worker at Acadieme Lafayette for six years. Laura’s experience in the school setting has developed helpful insight for children and families. As a private therapist, she uses cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, and children and family psychotherapy to help clients identify and resolve challenges while building on their strengths. Through one-on-one conversations, Laura provides support and hope for each client to fulfill their own potential for growth. Laura’s specialties include mood disorder, eating disorder, and childhood educational and developmental challenges. Laura works with primary care physicians, psychiatrists, schools, and the court system to provide confidential treatment.
